Porcelain Plaque Paintings
“Wandering in seclusion, I unknowingly venture deep into the mountains” — a line from the poem by Zhang Chonghe, intended to convey such a serene state through our works.
Our flagship pieces include porcelain plaque paintings, tea trays and decorative items inspired by the Dunhuang grottoes and ancient books. We blend traditional Chinese beauty into porcelain to create a simple, rustic and authentic atmosphere.
All products are made from saggar clay. Its rough texture naturally expresses the antique simplicity of mural paintings and ancient books. After applying hand‑mixed antique‑style colored slip, paintings or calligraphy are created on the surface. The pieces are then fired to maturity in an electric kiln at 1240°C.
